BEHIND THE WHEEL
Behind-the-wheel instruction is completed after successful completion of either the 30-hour teen driver education course or the 6-hour adult pre-licensing course. Driving sessions are scheduled after classroom completion and are designed to provide students with hands-on driving experience in a safe and structured environment. Students will practice essential driving skills, roadway safety, and real-world driving techniques while receiving instruction from a licensed driving instructor.

Milestone Driving School offers Road Skills Testing for eligible drivers seeking to obtain their Louisiana driver's license.
Road Skills Testing is available to students who have successfully completed a Louisiana-approved 38-hour Teen Driver Education Course or a 14-hour Adult Pre-Licensing Course and meet all state eligibility requirements.
Testing services are available to both Milestone Driving School students and qualified students who completed their driver education training through another approved provider.
During the Road Skills Test, drivers will be evaluated on safe vehicle operation, traffic laws, proper turning techniques, lane changes, parking maneuvers, and overall defensive driving skills.
Appointments are required. Applicants must present all required documentation and meet Louisiana OMV eligibility requirements before testing.
